5. Subscription Plans and Billing

5.2 Paid Plans

• Billed monthly or annually based on your selection
• Automatic renewal unless canceled before the renewal date
• Prices may change with 30 days notice
• You can upgrade or downgrade at any time

5.3 Refund Policy

• 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans
• Refunds processed within 5-7 business days
• No refunds for partial months or after the 30-day period
• Abusive refund requests may result in account termination

5.4 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings
• Access continues until the end of your current billing period
• No refunds for unused time in the current billing cycle (except within 30-day window)

7. Limitation of Liability

• We do not guarantee 100% detection accuracy
• False positives and false negatives may occur
• We are not liable for financial losses resulting from missed scams
• We are not liable for damages from incorrectly flagged legitimate content
• Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for third-party security APIs or services we integrate with

You acknowledge that scam detection is probabilistic and should be used as one factor in your security decisions, not the sole determinant.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScamDefender.ai from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of others.

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings.

9.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Fail to pay for a paid subscription
• Use the Service in a way that harms others or our reputation

Upon termination, your access to the Service will be immediately revoked. We may delete your account data 30 days after termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law
